Disney+ Original “Crater” Premieres May 12
On May 12, Disney+ will premiere “Crater,” an original film created specifically for the streaming service. The film stars Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Mckenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce, and Scott Mescudi and is directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez. The screenplay for this Shawn Levy, Dan Levine, and Dan Cohen production was penned by John Griffin. Terry Douglas, Paris Latsis, Gordon Gray, Rpin Suwannath, and Emily Morris served as executive producers.
Caleb Channing (Russell-Bailey) is the protagonist of “Crater.” He was raised in a lunar mining colony and, after the death of his father (Mescudi), he and his family are preparing to move permanently to an idyllic distant planet. . But before he leaves, he and his three best friends, played by Dylan Barratt, Borney Hong, and Marcus Boyce, and a newcomer named Addison Grace from Earth, hijack a rover to go on one last adventure and investigate a mysterious crater, fulfilling his father’s dying request.
