New Netflix Comedy “Unstable” Stars Rob Lowe & John Owen Lowe
New eight part comedy “Unstable” created by and starring Rob Lowe and real life son John Owen Lowe will premiere March 30 on Netflix.
The series trades heavily on the real life of it’s stars.
Ellis Dragon is an eccentric narcissist who is also a biotech entrepreneur dedicated to improving the world. He’s also emotionally crashing and burning. Jackson Dragon, his son, is… none of the above. Can Jackson overcome the seemingly impossible and save Ellis’s company, mend fences with Ellis, and emerge from his father’s shadow unscathed?
Regulars on the series include Sian Clifford who plays Anna Bennet, the savvy, fierce, and formidable CFO of the Dragon Company. Anna, who can hold her own with Ellis, has (barely) kept the business running well despite her boss’s emotional roller coaster.
Jackson has known Malcolm Drummond (Aaron Branch) since they were kids. Before his promotion, he was Ellis’s assistant, but now he oversees projects independently. Malcolm is so enamored with Ellis that he is envious that Jackson is Ellis’ son.
Rachel Marsh plays Luna Castillo, a brilliant biotech engineer who works with her friend and research colleague Ruby at one of the facilities. Luna is content to let her more gregarious companion do all the talking because she is shy, uncomfortable, and odd.
Ruby Rosario (Emma Ferreira) is a biotech genius. Ruby, in contrast to Luna, is gregarious, approachable, and entertaining.
Executive Producers are Rob Lowe, John Owen Lowe, Victor Fresco and Marc Buckland.
