The critically acclaimed drama series “1923” will be back for a second season, just announced by Paramount+. The 1923 series debut has been the most watched Paramount+ premiere in the US so far. The show, which is a prequel to Yellowstone, was created by Academy Award® nominee Taylor Sheridan and stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
A new episode of 1923 premieres this coming Sunday, February 5. The series introduces us to Jacob (Ford) and Cara Dutton (Mirren). The Dutton family and their mountain west community are examined in this series set in the early 20th century, a time of epidemics, catastrophic drought, and the end of Prohibition.
The first season of 1923 also stars Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Jerome Flynn, and Julia Schlaepfer, who will all return for the continuation of the Dutton family’s story.
The series is executive produced by YELLOWSTONE co-creator Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson, and produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.
