He Knew He Was Right (BBC Drama, Laura Fraser, Bill Nighy)

In period drama He Knew He Was Right, based on the novel by Anthony Trollope, Louis (Oliver Dimsdale) and Emily Trevelyan (Laura Fraser) seem to have a perfect marriage until he starts believing she is having an affair with her godfather, Colonel Osborne (Bill Nighy) – a regular caller to their home.

Louis forces a separation but keeps tabs on her from afar by employing the services of a private detective who has a tendency to misinterpret innocent key events which only fuels Louis’ suspicions.
