Ukridge (BBC One Sitcom, Anton Rodgers, Julian Holloway)

In period comedy Ukridge Stanley Featherstone Ukridge (Anton Rodgers) cons his way through the 1930’s. Based on the novel by P.G. Wodehouse the character of Ukridge is unlike pretty much all other Wodehouse creations. He is actually something of a bad egg looking out only for himself.

The series aired under the World of Wodehouse banner and was adapted by Richard Waring best known for domestic sitcoms such as Bachelor Father and And Mother Makes Three.
