Married At First Sight Australia Season 11: Meet The Brides
Back bigger than ever, Australia’s favourite social experiment, Married at First Sight, returns for its most polarising season of next-level drama and a whole lot of love.
In this new season, viewers will witness the intensity of fast-tracked relationships as the brides and grooms put everything on the line in the hope of finding lasting love. These couples are more relatable, honest, and vulnerable than ever before. They’re ready to get real, fast.
To provide some background before we dive into meeting the brides, let’s take a closer look at the show’s format. In this unique social experiment, 10 couples meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day. They are matched by relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, along with certified sexologist Alessandra Rampolla. Throughout their journey, these experts guide the couples and put their relationships to the ultimate test.
Now let’s meet our brides and hear about their experiences firsthand.
Andrea, a 51-year-old photographer from QLD, is proof that age is just a number when it comes to finding love. After ending her most recent relationship due to being gaslit, Andrea turned to Married at First Sight for inspiration. She’s ready to forge a new path towards finding love and hopes that this experiment will be her ticket to happiness.
Cassandra, a 29-year-old administration officer from QLD, has experienced devastating loss in her past relationships. As she approaches her 30s, Cassandra yearns for a meaningful connection with someone who is family-oriented and loving. Her open mind and huge heart make her ready to embark on this journey with hope in her eyes.
Eden, a 28-year-old recruitment manager from QLD, has had her fair share of trust issues after her previous partner cheated with her best friend. Since then, she has been single for three years and is looking to find someone ambitious, generous, and loyal. Eden puts her trust in the experts to match her with the right person who can help mend her broken heart.
Ellie, a 32-year-old registered nurse from QLD, had her dreams shattered when her ex-fiancé cheated on her, resulting in the cancellation of their wedding. This heartbreaking experience left Ellie with a constant need for reassurance. Despite being open, friendly, and sunny-natured, Ellie has been unlucky in love. She hopes that the Married at First Sight experiment will finally deliver her Mr. Right.
Lauren, a 32-year-old PR & marketing consultant from WA, is known for her wickedly dry sense of humor and strong opinions. With parents who have been married for 40 years, Lauren has high standards for what a successful relationship looks like. After going through yet another relationship breakdown, she is ready to find someone who can match her level of sarcasm and wit.
Lucinda, a 43-year-old MC & wedding celebrant from NSW, describes herself as an “earth mama” who celebrates life to the fullest. With a fun and easygoing personality, Lucinda runs a speed-dating company and works as a marriage celebrant and MC. Now it’s her turn to find love and share her life with someone special.
Natalie, a 32-year-old physiotherapist from VIC, is a little bit nerdy by nature and proud of it. Her caring and devoted nature make family relationships a high priority in Natalie’s life. While she considers herself an independent Latina woman with a big personality, she hopes to find her very own “Player 2” in the game of life.
Sara, a 29-year-old nutritionist from NSW who was born and raised in Colombia, brings a fiery nature and open communication style to the experiment. She admits that her approach can come off as too strong at times but hopes to find someone who can match her energy and passion.
Tori, a 27-year-old business development manager from VIC, is a self-proclaimed “bulldog” who doesn’t compromise easily. Raised by strong women, Tori is fiercely independent but still longs for the perfect fit in a partner. Her ideal match is an alpha male who can keep up with her strength and ambition.
With these diverse and intriguing brides joining the experiment, viewers are in for a season filled with surprises, challenges, and heartfelt moments. The series premiered Monday, January 29 at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
