As the Mandalorian and Grogu continue their quest, they will run with both familiar faces and unfamiliar foes along the way.

Pádraic (Colin Farrell) and Colm (Brendan Gleeson) have been best friends for their entire lives, but in “The Banshees of Inisherin,” which takes place on an isolated island off the west coast of Ireland, their friendship comes to an impasse when Colm abruptly terminates it.

Pádraic is taken aback, but with the help of his sister Siobhan (Kerry Condon) and a troubled young islander named Dominic (Barry Keoghan), he tries to mend the rift and won’t take no for an answer. But, Pádraic’s persistence only serves to harden his erstwhile friend’s resolve, and when Colm issues a desperate ultimatum, the situation quickly worsens with shocking results.

Chang, a 16-year-old Asian American member of the high school marching band, challenges the school’s basketball star to a wager that Chang will be able to dunk by Homecoming. Chang, just 5 feet 8 inches tall, makes a wager with his friends and sets out to get the hops he needs to dunk in order to win over his high school girlfriend, Kristy.

But before he can get back on his feet and throw down, he has to question everything he has ever been taught about himself, his relationships, and his family.

Boston Strangler | March 17

Matt Ruskin, a writer and director who has won multiple awards for his work, has created a true crime thriller called “Boston Strangler,” which focuses on the journalists who, in the 1960s, uncovered the case of the notorious Boston Strangler.

Loretta McLaughlin, a reporter for the Record-American, is the first journalist to make the link between the murders committed by the Boston Strangler, and the film follows her as she does so. Loretta, with the help of her friend and coworker Jean Cole, tries to keep investigating as the number of victims from the mysterious attacker rises.

However the pervasive misogyny of the time proves to be a roadblock for the pair. Yet, McLaughlin and Cole courageously follow the story, putting their lives on the line to find the truth.

Walter (Alex Aiono), the first man Lahela (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) ever loved, is not the same when he returns from the World Surf Tour. It’s clear she’s not the same person, though. When she meets Nico, a bad boy riding a dirt bike, it’s evident what I’m talking about (Milo Manheim.)

She has to decide whether to stand up for what she believes in or to give new love a chance. All of this is made more difficult by the stresses of being a young medical student. Thankfully, she has the love and encouragement of her loved ones, coworkers, and best friend Steph (Emma Meisel).
