FISK Season 3 Now Filming for ABC TV
Kitty Flanagan is back as the formidable Helen Tudor-Fisk in the upcoming third season of the award-winning Australian comedy series, ‘Fisk‘. Filming for the new season has commenced, and audiences can expect another hilarious journey into the world of wills and probate. Joining Flanagan once again are Julia Zemiro, Marty Sheargold, and Aaron Chen, who have all reprised their roles. The six-part season will air later this year on ABC, building upon the success and acclaim of the previous two seasons.
Each episode of ‘Fisk’ features guest stars from the comedy circuit, all navigating the often-tricky world of inheritance. The show has garnered a dedicated following and critical acclaim for its unique brand of humour and the inimitable fashion sense of its lead character. Since its debut in 2021, the series has swept up an impressive array of awards, including back-to-back Silver Logies for Most Popular Actress, an AACTA Award for Best Comedy Performer, and Best Narrative Comedy Series. It has also received international recognition, winning the Best Comedy Series award at the Screen Producers Awards and the Best Series honour at the Series Mania festival in France.
In season three, Helen finds herself with new responsibilities and challenges as a name partner at Gruber & Fisk. This is partly due to her colleague Ray’s (Sheargold) divided attention, as he navigates a new relationship with an age-appropriate partner and her unique “fashion psychologist” business. Helen’s personal life also sees some changes, as she finally moves out and embarks on a new chapter in her own place. However, she soon finds herself at odds with her new neighbour, showcasing Helen’s signature brand of awkward social interactions.
Meanwhile, Roz (Zemiro) confronts a midlife crisis, Viktor (Glenn Butcher) resigns as Roz’s assistant, and George (Chen) makes a surprising career move by joining the rival firm, Conch Mediation. Adding to the drama, Helen and Viktor find themselves at odds with their father (John Gaden) when he decides to update his will, leading to some stereotypical family feuds.
‘Fisk’ season three promises to deliver more of the witty and eccentric humour that has made the series a local and international success.
