UKTV Give SECRETS OF THE LONDON UNDERGROUND Season 4 Renewal
UKTV has recently announced the return of Secrets of the London Underground for a fourth series, set to air on Yesterday and UKTV Play later this year. The show, produced by Brown Bob, has garnered a dedicated following on Yesterday, reaching over 10.1 million individuals across all previous series and ranking as one of the top performers on UKTV Play.
“The more you look, the more secrets there are to discover about the London Underground. This series promises a whole new raft of thrilling ‘Did you know…?’ moments for Yesterday viewers,” remarked Jacqueline Hewer, CCO of Brown Bob.
The upcoming series is currently in production, with rail historian Tim Dunn (The Architecture The Railways Built) and Siddy Holloway from London Transport Museum returning to uncover more intriguing secrets about the Tube’s extensive history. Siddy’s work developing the museum’s Hidden London program provides her with access to locked-away spaces that reveal incredible details of British social and rail history.
The show has garnered a dedicated following on Yesterday, reaching over 10.1 million individuals across all previous series and ranking as one of the top performers on UKTV Play.
“It’s great to bring them another series, packed of course with curious facts,” expressed Gerald Casey from UKTV regarding Tim and Siddy’s passion and knowledge about the hidden past of the London Underground.
“Siddy has keys to many locked away places that reveal fascinating details of British social and rail history,” shared Elizabeth McKay, Director of London Transport Museum.
Chris Nix from London Transport Museum will also contribute as Historical Consultant, sharing enthralling stories sourced from museum archives during this new season filming now.
Secrets of the London Underground is slated for a primetime slot in 2024 on UKTV’s free-to-air Yesterday channel. Fans can currently enjoy all previous seasons via free streaming on UKTV Play while awaiting this newest installment exploring further mysteries beneath bustling London streets.
