Sitcom grown ups (deliberately all lower case to suggest that they are not grown up actually) told stories of the differing lives of a group of friends who first met at University fifteen years previously. The group all lived in Manchester.

The five were Bob, who is a uni-lecturer married to Mel; photographer Jim married to Claire and single Murray still living at home with his mum.

The quintet all felt that their lives hadn’t quite panned out the way they intended.

grown ups also made ample use of fantasy sequences to illustrate various points.
