Archaeologist Raksha Dave and historian Dan Snow look at the Black Death’s impact on Britain 700 years ago.

About 3 million people, or half the country’s population, perished as a result of this devastating pandemic. Dan and Raksha visit epicentres of the outbreak and dig up archival data to trace its horrifying progress across the country over the course of a year.
