This episode presents a retrospective that covers the highs and lows of Bon Scott’s remarkable life. With a wealth of archival material, viewers will gain insights into his journey from honing his skills in bands such as The Valentines and Fraternity to being introduced to AC/DC in 1974 as a replacement singer.
As AC/DC rapidly gained popularity in Australia, Britain, and later the United States, Bon Scott’s heavy drinking began to take its toll. Tragically, he died at the age of 33 from acute alcohol poisoning when he was poised to conquer the world.
Through interviews with family, friends, and fellow musicians who provide valuable perspectives on Bon Scott’s passions and demons, this episode offers an intimate look into his state of mind at the time of his death. Additionally, it features the first-ever interview with Bon’s brother Derek and a rare interview with Bon’s successor in AC/DC, Brian Johnson.
