Chris Chibnall to adapt Agatha Christie’s “The Seven Dials Mystery” for Netflix

Netflix has announced a new series adaptation of Agatha Christie’s ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’. The project is penned by ‘Broadchurch‘ creator Chris Chibnall, who will also executive produce alongside Suzanne Mackie and Chris Sussman.

Mackie, an executive producer on ‘The Crown‘, co-founded Orchid Pictures in 2020, and this series marks the company’s first venture into television production. Anne Mensah, a Netflix executive, and James Prichard of Agatha Christie Limited also expressed their excitement for the project.

‘The Seven Dials Mystery’ will introduce the intriguing character Bundle Brent, a sharp and humorous young woman, to screen. Chris Sweeney has been confirmed as director, with filming set to begin this summer.

The series will be a collaboration between Netflix, Orchid Pictures, and Agatha Christie Limited, with Chibnall’s production company, Imaginary Friends, also involved.
