Highway Thru Hell, March 31, 2024, The Weather Channel, “Rolling Solo”
Highway Thru Hell is a documentary series that follows the operations of heavy vehicle rescue and recovery companies along some of the most treacherous highways in British Columbia.
The show focuses on the efforts of drivers, including Jamie Davis, who work in dangerous conditions to keep roads open and help stranded motorists. Filmed primarily on the Coquihalla Highway, the series captures the intense and often risky situations these professionals face. From harsh winters to treacherous terrain, the episodes showcase the challenges of operating in such a demanding environment.
Each episode tells the story of different road incidents and the rescue missions that ensue. In the episode titled “Rolling Solo“, airing on Sunday March 31, 2024 at 8.00pm on The Weather Channel, Al heads to aid a semi in a snowbank, while Jamie puts his LA Rotator to the test during a technical recovery mission. Kyle struggles with a dump truck rollover, facing a challenging situation without the assistance of his Uncle Rob.
The series also showcases the work of other recovery firms, including Quiring Towing, Aggressive Towing, and Reliable Towing, all competing for the same goal.
With episodes airing weekly, The Weather Channel broadcasts new instalments of Highway Thru Hell on Sundays at 8:00pm ET, with encores during the week.
