“Palm Royale” Apple TV+ Unveils Sneak Peek of New Comedy

Palm Royale: Highly Anticipated Apple TV+ Series
Apple TV+ has given viewers a first glimpse of “Palm Royale,” a new series set in Palm Beach and featuring an all-star cast. The show stars Kristen Wiig, along with Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas and Leslie Bibb. “Palm Royale” is set to premiere globally on March 20, 2024, with the first three episodes being released on that date, followed by new episodes every Wednesday until May 8.
The series follows the story of Maxine Simmons, played by Kristen Wiig, as she tries to break into the high society of Palm Beach. Taking place in 1969, the show explores the challenges of being an outsider and the sacrifices one is willing to make to belong.
Loosely based on the novel “Mr. and Mrs. American Pie” by Juliet McDaniel, “Palm Royale” is produced for Apple TV+ by Apple Studios. The series is written, executive produced, and showrun by Abe Sylvia. The directors include Tate Taylor, Claire Scanlon, and Stephanie Laing.
