The Masked Singer: Lorraine Kelly is Owl

Lorraine Kelly has been unveiled as Owl on ITV’s hit show, The Masked Singer. In the fifth episode of the current series, Lorraine took off her mask after performing and revealed herself to be the celebrity behind Owl. Fans who had correctly guessed her identity were thrilled to see their suspicions confirmed.

Speaking about her time on the show, Lorraine said “I’ve loved being Owl, I’ve loved every single second, the show is so joyful.”She also explained that she had joined the competition to have some fun and kickstart the year with something silly. Singing in front of an audience was new to Lorraine, but wearing a mask made it less intimidating for her.

Despite having a Scottish accent that she tried to hide during performances, Lorraine found it amusing that the panel didn’t immediately recognise her voice. She had expected them to identify her due to her distinctive accent but was pleased they didn’t figure it out right away.

Throughout the season, clues about Owl’s identity included references to humor and parody, football and ribbons, being a night owl with many friends, among others.

In next week’s episode of The Masked Singer UK Season 5 on ITV1 there will be two eliminations as two contestants bid farewell from their masked personas.

Fans of Lorraine Kelly were quick to recognize her vocal style underneath Owl’s costume even before she was officially unmasked. They shared their excitement online when their predictions turned out to be correct.

The host herself took X (previously known as Twitter) after removing all disguises saying she loved every moment spent on stage singing under Owl’s character appearance hoping fans enjoyed this happy journey too.

Although Lorraine had been a competitor on the show, she will also serve as a guest judge in an upcoming episode.
