The Holiday streaming on Acorn TV UK from 30 October

The Holiday, a recent four part Channel 5 thriller, gets an Acorn TV UK premiere.

The plan was for everyone to spend a week together in the sun, making memories as a large group. The four women who have been friends for as long as they can remember are excited to spend some quality time together in their brand new, ultra-luxurious villa. When they get there, however, Kate (Jill Halfpenny, The Drowning) finds something that makes her wonder if Sean (Owen McDonnell, Killing Eve) is cheating on her.

When Kate begins to suspect that the other woman is one of her closest friends, the once-fantastic vacation turns into a living nightmare. Exactly which one, though? As Kate gets closer to the truth in the sweltering heat of the Mediterranean, she realises that the stakes are much higher than she had originally thought. Someone in the villa may be willing to kill to keep their secret hidden.

The Holiday premieres on Monday 30 October 2023 on Acorn TV UK.
