FX Moves “A Murder at the End of the World” Premiere to November
Amidst the ongoing dual writers and actors strike FX have decided to push back the premiere of their limited series A Murder at the End of the World. Originally scheduled for August 29, the series will now premiere as a FX on Hulu exclusive at the end of November. The series is created and directed by The O.A. creators Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij and stars Emma Corrin as Darby Hart, a young woman who gets caught up in a murder mystery at the home of a reclusive billionaire.

In A Murder at the End of the World, “Darby Hart” (Emma Corrin) is a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker who leads a new kind of detective team. Darby is one of nine people invited by a reclusive billionaire (Clive Owen) to attend a retreat in a breathtakingly beautiful but otherwise unreachable location. A Murder at the End of the World stars Emma Corrin, Clive Owen, Harris Dickinson, Brit Marling, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson and Neal Huff.
Who is making the series
A Murder at the End of the World is created and directed by Brit Marling & Zal Batmanglij. Marling and Batmanglij also executive produced alongside Andrea Sperling (Transparent), Melanie Marnich and Nicki Paluga. The seven-episode limited series is produced by FX Productions and was filmed in Iceland, as well as New Jersey and Utah.
