In tonight’s episode of Weakest Link, eight strangers of varying ages will put their trivia knowledge to the test, quizzing each other on topics ranging from pop culture to history, and even the meaning of outdated technology like landlines. The contestants will have to work together while also strategizing to outlast their competitors, all in the hopes of winning a substantial cash prize.
Hosted by the Emmy-award winning Jane Lynch, this revival of the popular game show sees contestants answer general knowledge questions in a series of rapid-fire rounds. With each correct answer, the team builds a chain, increasing the prize money. However, one wrong answer can break the chain, forcing the contestants to start over. At the end of each round, the players must vote out the weakest link, with the infamous dismissal: “You are the weakest link. Goodbye.”
As the game progresses, tensions will rise, and only the savviest players will make it to the final round, where the last two contestants will face off in a head-to-head quiz battle. The winner takes home the entire cash prize, while the other players leave with nothing.
