In the opening episode of the second series of ‘Clive Myrie’s Caribbean Adventure‘, which airs on BBC Two on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 6:30 pm, Clive Myrie embarks on an epic journey across the Caribbean, starting in Jamaica. He sets out to reconnect with family, explore his heritage, and immerse himself in the vibrant mix of cultures that defines island life.

Myrie heads east across Jamaica, where he meets up with his sister, Judith, who has recently relocated to the island from the UK. Together, they explore the wild beauty of the island’s longest mountain range. They visit a high-altitude coffee farm, enjoying the stunning scenery and learning about the local coffee-growing industry.

Myrie also looks into the history of the Maroon community, who made this rugged terrain their home. He meets descendants of these rebel mountain communities, learning about their rich culture and traditions. The presenter also gets a lesson in culinary traditions, as he discovers the secrets of making authentic Jamaican Jerk Pork, a delicious local specialty.

As evening falls, Myrie finds a peaceful retreat 100 feet above the Caribbean Sea, where he spends the night, lulled by the gentle waves below.
