What is Crazy Rich Agents: Selling Dream Homes

Five recent college grads are attempting to break into the lucrative real estate market for the wealthy. At stake is the opportunity to earn commission on multimillion-pound homes in the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

They come from diverse backgrounds, but they all share a common goal: to make it big in the world of high-end real estate. Among them are a former behavioural therapist in a care home, an international model, a building society employee, a Dubai estate agent and a former music producer.

Throughout the so-called “summer killing season,” we observe the rookies as they try to land high-end listings, host lavish open houses, and win over wealthy clients. Sales stall and difficult VIP clients make them realise quickly that commissions aren’t easy to come by.

The new employees at Nest Seekers’ London office are risking not only their jobs but also their incomes by working on commission only. Who stays in it long enough to get paid, and who eventually gives up on the high-stakes game?

The series premieres Sunday 6 August 2023 at 9.00pm on BBC Two.
