Granchester Series 9, Tom Brittney Says Goodbye, Rishi Nair Joins Cast
Grantchester has been confirmed for another season, following the conclusion of series 8, with a significant change to the cast already underway. Tom Brittney, known for his role as Reverend Will Davenport since 2019, will be departing the show. Stepping into his shoes is Rishi Nair, who will portray charismatic vicar Alphy Kotteram.
Expressing his sentiments on leaving the show, Tom shared, “I’ve had the most incredible time playing Will Davenport for the last five years. I’ll miss it more than anything.
