Thriller serial Deceit was based on a novel by yatcher turned best selling novelist Clare Francis and focused on Ellen Richmond (Francesca Annis) whose wealthy husband goes missing at sea, she tries to get on with her life but it seems she is hiding something, especially when it turns out her husband was having money problems.
