Clean Break (ITV 2018, Sheridan Smith, Ben Bailey Smith)

In thriller Clean Break Sam is a cleaner at a major financial stockbrokers in the heart of the city, she is also addicted to online gambling and has crippling debts that threaten to ruin her.

Sam wants nothing more than a decent life for herself and her kids but her ex is threatening to try and gain custody. It’s only when she hears a confidential trading conversation whilst cleaning one night that she realises that the inside information could give her the break she craves.

Sheridan commented: “I’m incredibly excited to be part of Clean Break. Mark Marlow has written truly brilliant scripts and I feel very fortunate to be involved. It’s lovely to be returning to ITV and I can’t wait to get started.”
