WE tv, part of AMC Networks, has ordered a new drama based on the life of successful manager Deb Antney, titled Bev is Boss. The show is part of WE tv’s successful comeback to scripted programming.

Deb Antney, CEO/Founder of Mizay Entertainment, rose to prominence as a result of her role in launching the careers of several major artists, including Gucci Mane, French Montana, and Nicki Minaj. She is the notorious mother of famous rapper Waka Flocka Flame, and she is known for her ‘no holds barred’ attitude toward the music industry.
