The Man Outside (BBC Drama, Rupert Davies)

BBC drama series The Man Outside was an anthology of individual thriller stories that were introduced by Rupert Davies in character as a man called Baker.

In terms of people in front of and behind the camera this was quite a high profile, even if it didn’t make much of an impression on the audience at home. Writers included Victor Canning, Patrick Alexander, Robert Holles, Hugh Whitemore and Donald Bull.

Guest stars included film legend Michael Redgrave in a rare British TV appearance, Peter Copley, Moira Redmond, Anna Massey, George Baker, Moray Watson and Ron Moody.
